The

Project

Evoke helped Yauatcha Riyadh achieve 253M total global audience reach and build its launch visibility from zero across social, press, media and influencer channels.

The Mandate

Yauatcha Riyadh needed a launch campaign worthy of the brand’s global reputation. As part of the wider Hakkasan Group portfolio, the restaurant required a high-impact opening that could generate attention in Saudi Arabia, the wider region and international hospitality media.

Evoke worked with the Hakkasan headquarters team in Las Vegas to support the launch and ongoing PR contract for the restaurant.

The Challenge

A premium restaurant launch cannot rely on one opening night alone.

The challenge was to create anticipation, credibility and demand before the doors officially opened. Yauatcha Riyadh needed to establish itself quickly in a competitive luxury hospitality market, attract the right audiences and create enough media and influencer momentum to make the opening feel like a must-attend regional event.

The brand was also starting from zero on social media, meaning the launch had to build awareness and audience simultaneously.

The Strategy

Evoke developed a full launch architecture rather than a single event.
The strategy was to build momentum through a carefully sequenced series of pre-opening experiences, each designed for a specific audience: friends and family, press and media, influencers, VIPs, soft launch guests and official launch attendees.

This allowed the story to build in waves. Each event created new content, new social proof and new media opportunities, culminating in a grand opening with strong regional visibility.

The

Execution

Evoke organised and implemented seven launch events in the week leading up to the official opening.

The launch programme included:

  • Friends and family event.
  • Press and media evening.
  • Influencer evening.
  • VIP evening.
  • Soft launch activity.
  • Official launch event.
  • Regional press, media and influencer hosting.
  • Social media channel buildout from zero.
  • PR and media relations.
  • Influencer campaign management.
  • Ongoing launch-period content amplification.

Evoke flew in influencers, press and media from across the region to ensure the launch carried weight beyond Riyadh and reached the wider luxury dining and hospitality market.

The

Impact

The campaign delivered significant visibility over an eight-week launch window.

Yauatcha Riyadh achieved 253M total global audience reach, with 98M press release reach, 25M global social media reach and 20.3M influencer campaign reach.

The campaign secured 45 international publication features and daily coverage across 12 regional newspapers and TV outlets.

Social growth was rapid. Instagram grew from 0 to 16K followers, while Facebook grew from 0 to 2K followers during the campaign period.

Why

it Mattered

Evoke turned a restaurant opening into a regional hospitality moment. By sequencing the launch through multiple audience-specific events, the campaign created sustained momentum instead of relying on one night of coverage.

The result was an opening that looked, felt and performed like a major luxury launch — with the audience growth and media reach to prove it.

Yauatcha Riyadh did not simply open. It arrived.
