Scott has worked in political advisory, business intelligence and strategic communications for over 20 years, having started his career in 1998 providing support to advisors to State Premiers and the Prime Minister in Australia on numerous topics including infrastructure investment.

After emigrating to the United Kingdom in 2000, Scott transitioned from political affairs to commercial advertising and branding, where he worked at Start Design on numerous projects for Richard Branson’s Virgin Group.

Over the next 7 years while based in the UK, as an independent consultant he contributed to numerous projects, including a review and recommendations for the BBC’s approach to online reporting on the conflicts in the Middle East and Afghanistan, the development of ACNielsen’s pan-European strategy, and the implementation plan for the conversion of UK Government Services to an online platform per the requirements of the Varney Report.

In 2007, Scott moved to the United Arab Emirates, where he continued to work in branding and design, consulting for numerous clients including the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority and Dubai World Trade Centre, where he handled the production of assets for the digital marketing teams for their headline exhibitions including GITEX, Boat Show, Motor Show, GISEC and many others.

Between 2011 and 2015, he returned to his political affairs and economic development, facilitating trade delegations between the United Arab Emirates and the Cayman Islands, to explore mutual interests. Scott was instrumental in the establishment of Cayman Islands’ Special Economic Zone, Cayman Enterprise City. Scott has continued to consult on the development of economic zones in countries such as Vietnam and Afghanistan.

Scott combines his experience in political affairs, economic development, advertising and commercial intelligence to support a variety of clients including Fortune 500 pharmaceutical companies, U.S real estate developers, and hedge funds on due diligence, reputation and crisis management. Scott’s unique blend of skills allow for him to provide expert insights across a diverse range of issues to develop both strategic plans and responses to mitigate crise and gain competitive advantages in the market.
